MOAA National Chapter Visit

Nan Mazza receiving Council award for Service

Jeanne McKenty receiving Council award for Service

MOAA National wants to ensure they keep in touch with their councils and chapters.  One of the ways they do this is by having their staff conduct in person visits on a periodic basis.  Our last visit before today was from Erin Stone (Councils and Chapters).

Today we were fortunate enough to have our latest visit be by COL (Ret) Ted Janosko and his wife Marilyn in conjunction with our general membership meeting (GMM).  As most of you know, Ted is a member of MOAA National's Board of Directors.  It seems almost strange to call it a visit given how many years they were an integral part of our Chapter and the Lawton-Fort Sill community.  It was more like a homecoming.  It was great to have them back.

For those who could not attend the GMM, you can still hear what Ted had to say.  We believe you will find it informative.  For this reason, we have recorded his presentation.  You can view it at this link.  Marilyn also gave some key reminders about Surviving Spouses.

Nan Mazza and Jeanne McKenty received Chapter MOAA Certificates of Appreciation for their service from Chapter President Don DuRant and National MOAA representative Ted Janosko.
