Tax season is quickly approaching and that means you are probably gathering important documents and verifying your information is correct. While you have those important documents handy, it's a good time to make sure your loved ones know about your Survivor Benefit Plan (SBP) coverage.

You can view your Retiree Account Statement (RAS) on myPay to see the type of SBP coverage you selected. Make sure that your family knows what the Survivor Benefit Plan is and what they will need to do to start payments:
